Under the influence of multiple gravities is part of a larger body of work which explores the new forms of technological determinism as a force. A force which historically existed in a broader spectrum of social change and reform, but which now, combined with the new forms of capitalism in post digital world, has become the dominant force of social reform.
A force with increasing influence over the shaping of the online world, and as the world becomes increasing online (AI, IoT, surveillance, smart cities), the societies that adopt its practices in the shaping of our cities and every aspect of our on and offline interactions.
Whatever you view, in the post-digital age we now live under the influence of multiple gravities. Newtons gravitational force fixing our place in the universe and a Vebleneque technological determinism fuelled by new forms of capitalism increasingly pulling us towards the metaverse.
