The New Oracles, Digital Transparency, 2025

THE NEW ORACLES & AFTER THE HUMAN, AFTER THE TECHNOLOGY, LOS ANGELES & SILICON VALLEY

In early 2026 the MetaU Gallery in Silicon Valley invited me to California to show The New Oracles in two curated shows. Their curated exhibition “After the human, after the technology” first opened at the LA Art Show, LA Convention Centre, before moving to the Silicon Valley Asia Art Centre, San Jose, Silicon Valley.

I made a number of new works to announce The New Oracles in the US including a new large scale interactive touchscreen version of the Oracle II (Superintelligence existential risks, mitigations & outcomes) digital simulator, Oracle II and New Oracles transparencies and prints.

I visited in both January and February to deliver talks and engage the hundreds of visitors in wonderful conversations on our many potential tech, data and AI-driven present-futures. Whilst there I also had the opportunity to undertake a number of research trips. To the Computer History Museum in Mountain View. Further research and knowledge exchange with Art and Technology History faculty at Stanford University and the Silicon Valley Archives collection of rare objects. This included some fantastic Apple 1-II’s, timely research for the Self Portrait as Janus installation. Finally an early morning research trip to record the historic theatres of downtown LA for new Corporations of R.U.R works.
