FURTHER DETAILS
In 2019 I went on an adventure across south America, travelling from the west coast, out into the pacific and back across land to east coast. From Chile to Easter Island, and then across Paraguay, Argentina to Brazil. Whilst there I photographed the wonder of the Iguazú Falls. A monumental force of nature spanning three countries which offers us a glimpse of the sublime. Made with a pinhole camera without the use of optics I wanted to capture the force of the water and the essence of the sublime in homage to Turner’s depictions of the sea.
